Installation
PurHarvest's installation process is very simple and PurHarvest provides a 5-Year Warranty on the entire installation of your system. To understand the installation of your PhotoVoltaic (PV) Solar System simply read below:
| The Site Visit: Solar installations are customized for each location due to the fact that each house, roof, and location is different, PurHarvest comes to your home to evaluate the solar potential of your home. Our engineers start by gauging the amount of unshaded roof space you have available for solar panels. |

| Reviewing of Your System Options: The PurHarvest Solar Installation Team will review with you your costs and specific benefits of various sized systems. PurHarvest then maps out the design of your system and shows you what your system will look like on your home. Based on your choice of system, you can choose how much of your electricity you want to offset with your panels (this is all dependent upon available roof space) - ranging from 25% to 100%. The more panels in your system, the more electricity your system generates. Most PurHarvest installations are limited only by the available roof space and are able to provide 25-50% of the home's electricity. |

| The Permit Process: Once you decide to move forward with the installation, you can sit back and relax. We’ll write up a contract and secure all necessary electrical and building permits. We’ll also help you fill in and file the paperwork for your rebates from the federal, state and local government. All PurHarvest installations are designed by NABCEP-certified engineers. NABCEP is the National Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. |

Installation: From the inverter, a wire will run to your main electrical panel. A PurHarvest electrician will make the connection between the inverter and your electrical panel and make sure the project meets electrical codes. |

| Connecting to the Grid
Once PurHarvest has installed your system and inspected it, your utility company needs to come out and connect it to the grid so that the system is net-metered and can contribute power to the grid. The utility company will replace your meter, at no cost to you, with a new meter able to run backwards when you generate more electricity than you use. Your new system will also be inspected by other state and local agencies to make sure it complies with various codes. At this point you are ready to start producing clean, energy efficient solar power. |
